What To Do During This Time

Painting of a Carved Green Heart

I’m sure I’m not alone when it comes to figuring out what to do while we are all inside of our homes. For some you have children and you have now taken on the role of teacher as well as parent. Some are still working and juggling this and making sure that lessons get done along with the other million things that goes on during the week.

Some are at home alone and some have their husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend and at first while it can be great might turn into something not so great.

So, how do you remain calm when everything seems to be falling around you? What I have been doing is trying to keep as normal of a routine as I normally did. Going outside when I can, exercising as I should, doing my spring cleaning so that when we are able to start living our normal life I can do so without thinking about the closet that needs cleaned or the walls that need washed.

Here are some other things that you can do:

  1. Catch up on the stack of books that you want to read
  2. Give yourself a manicure or pedicure
  3. Deep condition your hair
  4. Give yourself a facial
  5. Meditate
  6. Create your sacred space
  7. Do some yard work
  8. Start the book you have wanted to write
  9. Revamp your website
  10. Create content for YouTube® or Instagram®
  11. Learn that new program that you haven’t had time for
  12. Take courses that you haven’t been able to get to
  13. Paint your nails
  14. Catch up on your shows that you have wanted to watch
  15. Bake the cake that you have wanted to bake or cook something new

There are many things that we can all do to make this time a little easier and hopefully the days will pass quickly and soon be back to living life like normal. But until then do the things you have wanted to do but never had time for.

It’s stressful not being able to see our loved ones, I get it, and it’s even harder when someone is sick, and we can’t comfort them. However, worrying doesn’t make it go away, it doesn’t make it easier, what it does do is make our blood pressure go up and can cause us to be sick.

Focus on what you can do and not so much on what you can’t do right now. We are all in the same boat. No matter where we live, what job we have, we are affected, and you aren’t alone.

Many Blessings
